Ready Steady Dance - 3 to 8 Year Olds
If your child is aged between 3 and 8 then they will love our Ready Steady Dance Class on a Saturday morning between 9.30-10.15am. We do a bit of everything including, ballroom and latin, cheerleading and freestyle and the children work towards rosettes that they take every three months through the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). They are then awarded a certificate and a sash for them to collect their rosettes on. All our classes are on a pay as you go scheme so you dont have to sign up in advance.
Saturday Children's Classes 8 to 16 Year Olds
Ballroom/Latin - 10.15-11.00am, if your child is obsessed with Strictly Come Dancing then this class is for them! Children learn a selection of ballroom and latin dance styles to earn medals and certificates with the IDTA.
Musical Theatre - 11.05-11.50am, for all those budding stars who want to sing, dance and act. This class gives children the opportunity to explore these three disciplines and earn medals and certificates with the IDTA.
Dance Fusion - 11.55-12.40pm, this class mixes together a number of different styles, street, hip hop, freestyle, rock n roll and more to work towards IDTA medals.
Groups - 12.45 -1.30pm, in this class the children will learn to work together in a team which will compete at dancing competitions, perform at fetes and in our shows.
Elite Squad Training - 1.35-2.20pm, DM Dance Centre pupils compete acorss the country in freestyle dancing competitions. If your child would like to take their dancing to the next level and train hard to represent us, this is the class for them.
Children's Classes
Our children's classes cater for ages 3 to 16 and cover a variety of different dance styles. We cater for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers in ALL classes, so you can come along and have a go at any dance style. Plus all of our classes are pay as you go and don't need to be booked in advance.
Dinky Movers Mummy and Me Classes - 18 months to 4 Year Olds
Does your little one love to move and bop to music? If so this may be the perfect class for them to explore their creative side. These classes have been designed to help your child from the age of 18 months to 4 years with their co-ordination, balance and rhythm whilst letting them explore dance and music in a fun environment. The class is on Monday mornings 10.30-11.15am and run term time only.
